UMKC Volleyball is gearing up for another season with new faces and talents, as well as familiar ones from last year. The experienced players of last year combined with these new athletic recruits form a team their coach is confident about.
"One of my goals was to get the team more athletic and I think we did that in pretty much every position," said head volleyball coach Geno Frugoli.

There are no more Robert Johnsons, Mitch Mustains or even Darren McFaddens to take his position from him.
It's all his and it will be all his when Arkansas opens its season Saturday against Western Illinois.

With Casey Dick locked in as the starting quarterback for the Razorback football team, the race for the backup spot is in full swing.
Freshman quarterback Tyler Wilson has played well recently in practice and seems to be a natural at the position, said UA quarterbacks coach Garrick McGee.
